BONUS: you can actually sit in several of the vehicles and have your photo made for $20! That includes their original 1966 Batmobile, signed by George Barris.
(I know the Bat-equipment displayed alongside it isn’t original to the show, but it looked good next to the Batmobile. I’m guessing Bruce Wayne would have included an “all in one” crime fighting tool like that, if the technology had been available!)
They also have a movie Batmobile, a James Bond BMW, one of the Andy Griffith police cars (signed on the dash by Don Knotts), a Beverly Hillbillies vehicle, a Ghostbusters ambulance, a “BTTF” DeLorean and so many more!
Well worth the trip! If you’ve not been to that area (Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Sevierville) before, there is just so much to do that you will never get bored. There’s also beautiful mountains and scenic nature - and the Biltmore mansion isn’t far away (just another hour and a half to two hours, in North Carolina. And, if you’re going to North Carolina, you may also want to visit Mount Airy, Andy Griffith’s hometown and the basis for the town of Mayberry. There is a very nice museum and some recreations to visit.)
Be sure to check out the retro Sunliner diner, as well! Some of the best diner food and incredibly fun atmosphere! We had such a good time on this trip!
