It's a really good effort.
One of the things Fleischer used extensively was Rotoscoping, which is essentially the tracing of human figures in motion which is what gave them proper movements and proportions. They also used a wild technique where cels were on multiple glass planes and would move separately during the filming process to create a moving 3D background.
Seeing the roughs at the end shows they put a ton of work into this, although its been about 15 years since I actually created animation from what I know this was a tremendous amount of work.
Fun swing for the fences for sure, afraid it fell to about second base for me.
