Ron Ely RIP

Post by rsaffle »

Ron Ely who played the title character in the 1960s NBC series “Tarzan,” and "Doc Savage" has died at age 86.

Another one of my childhood idols gone.
Many hours entertained by him. Always seemed like an honorable man.

RIP

I loved TARZAN-- he was one of the best and like the books he spoke like an educated man not the grunt me Tarzan you Jane nonsense.

Back in the day as a schnick I never missed an episode of Tarzan. I'll miss Ron and those days. Also saddened to hear of Jack Jones' passing the same day and same age.
