Some of you who have been here on the Bat Board for a number of years will remember Petey. Back when I did Bat Board giveaways, Petey would always pick the final big winner by picking a colored ball assigned to that finalists name. I also posted the video of his picking.
A number of members here also met Petey. After living a full life with me, Petey passed away with no suffering on April 18. Petey was 14.5 years old. He was a true Best Friend whom I will never forget.

This hits especially hard for me here tonite. I live next to my dad and he just put his dog down today. Mickey was 14 and just a great dog. Although he was my dad’s dog, he was always over here too. It’s so hard losing your best friend like this. I’m so sorry for your loss.
My condolences on Petey's passing. As a fellow dog owner and dog lover I know well how our four-legged furry friends leave their paw prints all over our hearts for the rest of our lives and making it that much harder when the time comes. Enjoy the memories and remember - of all the people in this world that Petey could have been with - he was with you!

So sorry for your loss. I was going to write something more meaningful, but Yellow Oval said it perfectly. Dogs are truly special and Petty was a very special and wonderful dog.
