Howard Cosell Covers A Batfight

Post by 4theboids »

A long time ago, a good friend of mine and I wondered aloud what would happen if no less than Howard Cosell did commentary on a Batfight. I never forgot that, and here is my approximation of such an event, unlikely as it is

Excellent video.I grew up watching and listening to Howard Cosell, especially when he covered the boxing career of Muhammad Ali.Howard would have done an excellent job.

Thanks guys, I had a BLAST putting it together, had to study a bit of Howard CO-SELL footage to make sure I got it at least halfway right int he delivery and all.

Next on the docket, to put together a chase scene I would've loved to see, involving the Penguin and skiing.

Citzens,

I must say, in a futile attempt to offer commentary in a manner similar to the master's inimitable style, this recitation of the Dynamic Duo's pugilistic prowess pales in comparison to the the account given of the villain's strategic ineptitude in the encounter documented by our historic commentator. Once again, as is typical, the event in question, upon being chronicaled by a personality perhaps more well known than any of the aforementioned particapants, is expanded and imbued with characteristics enabling a Batfight to be transformed into a media event worthy of the big acreet.

Or, to put it another way, this offort is OUTSTANDING!

Mis ter Death Trap

LOL!
Tune in for their exciting conclusion. Same Bat-Time! Same Bat - Channel!

And I'm now about 1:25 into the big ski chase scene from a very non-existent episode "The Penguin's Icy Big Kill" / The Penguin's Gone Downhill"
