Starting with the next posting all pictures will be in color!
Here you see the top catwalk with more detail added also I have placed four guider legs on there for two reasons. One to make the placement of the legs easier and removable if needed. Two to get the top catwalk up off the table for painting the red detailing.

Here's another angle of the top catwalk.

Here the top catwalk kind of looks like an oil rig!

And here's a top view of the top catwalk as you can see I have the holes for the railings drilled already.

And now on to the second catwalk here is a picture of the bottom side of it with detailing added just like the top catwalk accept I chose smaller pieces to simulate boards going across. After all in reality the catwalks were made of boards most likely scaffolding boards as that is what the railings were made from.

And here is a view of the top of the second catwalk with the holes for the railing drilled.

Well that is all for this posting I may work on it some more tomorrow (Labor Day) as I am getting anxious to get the main part on it's legs where I can start the process of getting the railings put on which I am going to do totally different than the last time. I was never satisfied with those railings they looked bad and would not have painted well there was too much glue on the bonding points.
I have a way to fix that that I will be trying then after that we will be back to square one where I left off before and then I can concentrate on the lower half. I wish everyone a safe and happy labor day holiday.
