Bookworm Glasses prop

Post by rsaffle »

I am sharing these before they are completely finished. I need to make the lenses and that will probably be the toughest part. I'm thinking of 3D printing them and then making a mold of those and pouring in clear resin. It would have been easier to use real glasses and add the other details, but I wanted to see if I could do it and of course make them as close as possible.

S1,E29/30 "The Bookworm Turns & While Gotham City Burns"
Bookworm, a villain obsessed with the written word although he himself suffers from writer's block so severe that he must turn to a life of crime.

Lost track of my prop numbers but I know it's around 90+ :ugeek:

Funny, I don't remember that conversation.

So happens I took this pair to work with me and photographed them there and ended up breaking them in two places. So I will add the rivets and change the side panels per Ben. I also see that I painted the silver wrong on the sides.

Was Ben correct that the antenna is only on one side? It's been awhile since I researched this.

I have multiple props in different stages of design that I forget to finish or go on to something else.

I can only see the antenna being out on his right side. He does grab the left area like and on/off button but I can't see if there is an antenna there and he only say turns the ball on the end like a switch, or just pretends.

Thanks Pennyworth.

These photos make the bands on the sides look gold on the silver sides. Antenna looks gold here too. I do see the rivets now.

Interesting that my old design work only had the side vertical band on the left ear side. I need to watch these episodes again.
