Re: Auction of super collector Greg Jein
Okay, after making the statement above I looked up who Greg Jein was and found out he was much more than just a prop collector, so I have to give him a little pass about sharing these items on this forum. I'm happy to see them all now. lol
Found this image on the web. I'm going to look into visiting the auction house in Irving, Tx. I want more photos and to be close to these items.

Greg Jein Auction
A lot of the original GH props are being auctioned off after the death of prop master, Greg Jein. Sadly, I don't have an extra $3000 for a starting bid on a sting, gas gun or Kato dart! But if you do...

Yep, I'm sorry it took Greg's passing to allow these things and so many others amazing pieces see the light of day.
That is what I love about my friend Stewart who is building a museum in New Jersey to house and display his amazing collection to the public.
He knows and loves this stuff just like we do and he is happy to share it with everyone.
It wouldn't surprise me to see some of these Bat-Relics in his museum in the future.
Also a word of advice, don't rely on the measurements called out in an auction catalog!
Unless there is a ruler in the shot, take them as a ballpark measurement.

Re: Greg Jein Auction
Because of the close-up photos available from this auction, I was easily able to identify the base toy pistol used for Catwoman’s gun. It’s the Multiple Toymakers’ James Bond 007 gun from their 1966 “Assault Raider” attache set. I have that set and, as soon as I saw the photos, I recognized it.
Snagged the photos of the Bond set from eBay, as my set is in storage.
They covered the circular 007 logo and modified the trigger guard.

Yep!
Nice to see the sculpture up close. I saw one from back in the day that didn't bother to cover the logo...

Re: Greg Jein Auction
Great job! I actually spent several hours trying to identify that from these pictures too, but I couldn't do it. Awesome!
I have also tried in vain to find the portable fan.
Can any help me identify these props and possibly what episode they are in?

"COMPRESSED AIR" I can think of this scene when they were in the Penguin's pressure room, but the prop was never shown (wearing the sponge belt cases in front)....perhaps this is it?

It is sad, ones collection, life long love should be able to live past them.
I was glad to finally see a color photo of the real Batcuffs. I had always thought they were metallic Blue like the Batarangs. Now I know for sure they are black like everybody paints them. Also the photo of Catwoman's gun, as i have always thought , it's not based on the Green Hornet Gas gun. Although it is the Eartha Kitt Version, so I'm wondering re-purposed with the addition of the scope or all new. A lot of the photos I have seen with Julie it looks more like a Luger.

Re: Auction of super collector Greg Jein
I could have sworn I posted this here but I suppose it was somewhere else.
Years ago the question came up about the base gun and I compared working period dart guns to screen caps and found the 007 pistol.
The circle and the shape of the grip is very distinct.
Both Julie and Eartha used the same base. Since Julie used two at the beginning of the second season, they probably modified the second for Eartha.
Other than the scope, Julie's gun used a heavy wire clip to hold it on the belt where this one uses a flat piece of brass.

I thought that hockey puck shaped prop might have been Alfred's handkerchief communication device but it appears not.
