Hi Folks!
My Batman fixation started at an early age! I was 3 years old when this photo was taken of me in my Batman Costume.
It was 1969 and it was an Original Ben Cooper Batman Playsuit. I recently bought a child mannequin to properly display it.
What do you all think?

The Early Bird may get the Worm, but it's the SECOND Mouse that gets the CHEESE!
REALLY cool -- and you look like the kid who gets his tongue stuck to a pole after a dare in A CHRISTMAS STORY.
Costume is beautiful! This version is so much better than the one I know which has the plastic face mask.
There's a chance next year Rubie's costumes will reissue this in adult size in their Ben Cooper line. Not sure if it will just be the regular Batman mask and only the top or an exact replica.
TTB, its amazing that you still have your childhood costume. I had a version of the costume, but the mask was the hard, half face style. Unfortunately, its one of the few childhood Bat items I was not able to hold on to.

Fantastic idea. I loved this sighting a few years ago, in a stall at a flea market in Sydney, Australia:
I have a picture of me in mine's from Halloween morning of 1971. I'll post it if I can find it. I still remember how pumped I was coming back from W.T. Grant's (which in my memory seemed to have a huge costume selection every year) in Union Lake, Michigan and couldn't wait to unbox it and put it on. For the record, the year before I was Spider-Man and the year after I was a gorilla soldier from Planet of the Apes. No cornfield was safe from me. AH-WOOO-GA! AH-WOOO-GA! AH-WOOO-GA!
