Some excellent custom work there!

Also kudos for helping a member out with some great info and screen cap references! Love this kind of collaboration.

Can anybody tell me, how I can show here in the topic photos directly without needing a link?
Thanks.

Instead of copying the direct link from Image shack double click the "forum code" just below the direct link.
copy that and paste in your post. Delete the second line to remove the footnote "Uploaded from Image shack"
Do that for each of your photos and they will display one after the other.
You also could use the drag and drop feature the forum has but I don't like it as you cannot control where your photos will appear and in what order.

Hi BarryCharlie,
Nice F-4 Phantom Batplane. What model F-4E did You use for it? I made mine ( the 1st one ) from a 1/32nd Scale Revell F-4J and added the scallops to the wing and tail empennage. After I came home from work ( 30 years ago, mind You) it had been destroyed by an attack from the family cat! After that, (2nd + 3rd ones) I used a modified Airfix F-4 Phantom II in 1/72nd scale and a Monogram 1/48th scale F4-D Phantom II. Monogram was bought out by Revell so I'm not sure that kit is available, sadly, anymore. What color blue did You use? P.M. me if You wish.
Thanks in advance and Cheers

Hi Larry,
for my Batplane I used a "REVELL easykit" in 1:100.

Very simple to built without glue.
For color I used a spray "Enzianblue 5010"

Thanks Rainer,
I'll look for the kit and get two of them: one to build as it and one for the Batplane! Did You hand paint the bat emblems or was there a decal You used? I grew up almost directly East across the Mississippi River from the Mc Donnell Aircraft Corporation where the F-4s were made. Dad and I kept binoculars in the car because We never knew when We would see them flying over head. I remember seeing the modern reconstituted Luftwaffe F-4Es flying overhead after leaving the assembly line. We loved seeing all the differing national insignia on them. Sadly, though Rainer, the only one We didn't see was one with a bat emblem on it. :(
Thanks for the info, Rainer, I look forward to hearing how You did the emblem!

Cheers,
Larry
