Wow, this one totally escaped me. Sad news for sure, RIP Lesley, we'll miss you.
You won't like everyone. Try to love them where they are at.

I believe she's only the third moll to pass away, the others being Myrna Fahey (Blaze in the False Face eps), who died in 1973, and Barbara Nichols (Maid Marilyn in the Archer eps), who died three years later. I assume the low mortality rate stems from the simple fact that the majority of the molls were in their mid to late 20's, which would "only" put them in their early to mid 70's now.

Speaking of age, I think Lesley held the distinction of being the youngest moll on the show, since she was only 20 at the time.

Nobu McCarthy (Lotus) 2002
Phyllis Douglas (Josie) 2010
Patti Gilbert (Shirley) 2011
Barbara Stuart (Rocket) 2011
Lyn Peters (Lady Prudence) 2013

R.I.P.

I loved her sunshine and lollipops song in that movie with Yvonne Craig.

Pussycat was always one of my favorites. RIP Lesley. Attached is an image of a 1966 Batman Trading Card Project I am working on.

In my opinion she was far and away the best assistant any villain had. She was integral to the story and was actually on hand at the deathtrap. Both were very unusual for an assistant or moll. And she could act!

She was absolutely gorgeous. Burt Ward mentioned in his book that he had a terrible crush on her, but she snubbed him.

Very unfortunate.

Gore will be missed; obviously, she made her mark in the annals of pop music, but as others noted, she was one of the best molls in the series--at the side of Catwoman, she was a true corrupt mirror of the Batman/Robin team.

One classic exchange from the interrogation of Pussycat:

O'Hara: What she (Pussycat) needs is a good slap on the wrist.
Gordon: That's enough. You know I'm violently opposed to police brutality.
