Utility belt leather length?
I'm presently doing a Hardeman style belt per Chuck's pattern. In the future I 'm going to do the alternate one that ties in the back and has the leather laces. Can anyone tell me the length of leather strapping I'll need on both sides of the buckle?

I have not built one, but I would say depending on how it is going to be used, it would depend on the size of the wearer. If it's just for display purpose, I would use a 34-36" waist size. That seems to be an average waist size.
