Re: The Dynamic Duo, FINALLY together again!
Flat out, incredible, Chuck!! Great skill in capturing Burt's likeness and thanks for not making him look like a doofus but like a determined hero. This makes your work a work of art. Octave Marbot couldn't have done any better.

Re: Happy Holidays!
Loved my Corgi Batmobile/Batboat combo, those cool blue Bat slippers, shaped like Robin's boots, the neat dart gun target board with the Joker's face on it that I got for gifts when the Bat-craze was in full swing during the show. May you all be surrounded by those you love during this Christmastide...

Re: Just came across this interesting interview with Frank Foster III about his father’s creation of Batman in 1932!
So, I guess the next question is... Andy (and any other artists on the board), does the drawing look like a 1930's artist would have drawn it that way (posing, facial features, clothing details, etc) at that time? What details do you see that would match any pulp artists' styles of that time and are...

Plus, it's almost too perfect that the alternate name just happens to be the name first used to give Superman a Kryptonian alternative to "Batman" when he and Jimmy Olsen were fighting crime in the bottled city of Kandor and is now used for Dick Grayson's heroics. I wonder if there's a way...

Re: Doc Savage Mezco figure
Didn't the pulp magazines show Doc with a more Clark Gable-ish hair cut? I thought the widow's peak to the extreme became the style when James Bama did the covers for the paperbacks.

Here is the Earth Two Robin's head shot. For the McFarlane alternate head, you have to enlarge the pic and you'll see the bat ears of the mask much better.

Re: McFarlane Toys doing Batman 66 figures?
Nice looking retro Batman but I'm a little bummed that they opted for the Neal Adams designed Earth Two Robin costume. Nice to see that the alternate head has the original bat-shaped mask, though.

It would also be nice if they could offer both the original head sculpts and the updated Comic Scene Robin and the SuperPower MPC Batman reissues.

Re: Aurora logo returns. Possible Batman and Robin combo kit.
Boy, in a perfect world, Atlantis might increase the size for the Robin kit so he isn't so incredibly small compared to Batman. If Polar Lights could do it with their Marvel character kits, it can be done for Robin.

Re: McFarlane Toys doing Batman 66 figures?
I'll be keeping an eye out for the Earth-Two Robin figure. I know the placeholder picture indicates it likely is the Neal Adams costume design but I'll keep fingers crossed that the final product will be the Mike Sekowsky design from the Golden Age Robin's first Silver Age appearance in Justice Leag...
