Re: The West Overlooks Gotham

I'm sure it's A.I. as well. I'm generally not a fan of A.I., but this one works and, my opinion only, supersedes Lee's version. I find it makes a great argument to anyone that claims Adam West's Batman couldn't hold it's own against "more serious" versions. Imagine if Dozier decided not to...

The West Overlooks Gotham

Don't know if anyone has seen this already but I thought it was quite cool! 8-)

Re: AI Scene-Barbara Rhoades as Poison Ivy

I can't say I'm a big AI fan but there's something about it. Watching AI Batman clips on YouTube it's funny how the programming can do renditions of Batman and various other characters better than anything Hollyweird is capable of (or has been). That said, this works great, especially as I always lo...

Re: The Latest Batman Item You've Acquired?

Always love seeing comics from other places, especially their versions of American titles and characters. Thanks, Andy.

Re: Neal Adams Batman study

Absolutely beautiful, Chuck! Neal Adams' '70s depiction of Batman has always been my all-time favorite version of Batman (and Joker as well).

Jczernich wrote: Thu Oct 30, 2025 9:25 am Thank you all! I dedicate this diorama to those who dressed up as a superhero for Halloween when they were kids.

Tomorrow: Bonus pictures!
JC, I also have to commend you on the printouts of the little candy sack images of the JLA and the LoD. Just wonderful!

Re: Ben Cooper DC Costume Kids Diorama

This was awesome! Great memories of the early '70s Halloween evening outings - fortunately minus the classic vampire cameos. If they'd shown that would've sucked! Too bad the Charlie Brown 'trick or treat' gang didn't stop by to help defend. Linus could've summoned the Great Pumpkin and Charlie Brow...

Re: Catwoman's theme

Thanks, Simon. Good to know a soprano was actually used. Restores my faith and love fully now for the original series theme making it feel like an outer-space mermaid is really singing a siren song from somewhere deep out in the stars. If they would have used a theremin it would have been akin to to...

Re: Catwoman's theme

Sounds like it might be a theramin. I know I was fooled for years watching original Star Trek thinking it was an opera soprano singing the space mermaid "AAH-AAAAH-AH-HAHHAHHAHHAAAAH" part in the show's opening theme when, in fact, they were using a theramin. You can also see its uses demo...

Re: "Invasion From Outer Space" William Dozier narrations

Lloyd Hanes was the military policeman? Then they could have called this episode 'BOOM 222'. Bwahahahaha! :P (sorry, couldn't help myself)

A 'Swingin' Sixties Beauty'... Just can't believe how fast time is flying! :o Clocks and watches almost seem useless now. Looks like Burt is the only one left from that surfing episode's cast.
