I was recently informed by a friend of mine that now live in Canada (I live in the UK) that Adam and Burt will be Special Guests there in May.

My friend is taking her family to the show, and offered to get me their autographs. I missed out on meeting them at SDCC in 2011 (the one and only time I've ever been Stateside - EVER) so I'm rather keen to get something good sent to my friend to get signed.

If you were in my position, what would you send? I'm looking for suggestions.

I've been looking at 1:18 scale Batmobiles, but they're a bit pricey to get, and then send to Canada, and then send back. Then I though about getting one of the replica TV scripts from eBay (cheaper to buy AND ship). And at the least, I can always try and get hold of some TV stills and send a couple of them over.

Could you have your friend get something in Canada and after it was signed send it to you? That would save on shipping time and costs.

That's not a bad idea. In fact, taking it a step further, I could buy something online from Canada and just get it shipped to them. That would make the cost less as I wouldn't have to worry about import tax and the like. Plus it opens up a wider range of items to chose from.

Really. Talking about items to get signed is cool. Working out things like trades, costs, payments or talking about shipping arrangements for instance is not really allowed publicly. Please check our Merchandise Rules and general rules. I'm not saying that you specifically broke any of those rules but was putting the reminder ( especially for a new member) of what was not allowed here. It was meant to be a "watch the speed limit" type of notice to the thread. If it had been an actual infraction, the specific sentence of post would have been edited with an admin warning or the post would have been deleted altogether. Just a simple FYI.

Yes...This should be a great show. All the people running this show are wonderful. Full press intro to the Comic con on Thursday with the Batmobile and the mayor of Ottawa. Also you can win a ride in the Batmobile. Burt and Julie are two of the best "Batman " cast members you will ever meet!!!!!
