3D Batlogo redux WIP

Post by rsaffle »

I designed a logo like this in the past, but I wanted a redo since I have added to my skills. This has a better face and dimensional background folds.

This is the sculpt design, I haven't actually printed it yet. I am looking into the cost of getting a large one routed out of signfoam would be.

Having fun with Nomad Sculpt on my IPad. This 15$ program has opened some doors for me.

Wow! That’s a beautiful face sculpt design and the 3D wings sculpt, as well.

That is a great piece--the face really makes it stand out. My only "issue" is that the logo (the "bat" part) might be too puffy, otherwise, your work is outstanding!

I can see some Adam West in the exposed part of the logo's face. Nice work!

Thanks guys. I was wondering about the puffy nature. We are used to seeing it straight on so the depth of the bat will probably always look like that from the side.
I will try trimming the edge straight instead of rounding them. I'm still not done with the face but I appreciate the comments so far

If you have a FastSigns or a Sign A Rama near you they will usually give you a break if you already have a workable design. Sign foam would be the way to go.
If you decide to do them about 8-10" wide sign me up for one-- and I like the 3D of the bat-- I wouldn't change a thing.

Where’s the “I agree with Andy” button?

👍 Also agree about the vacu-form. I could see these being sold at Hobby Lobby.
