Batman 66 Credit Card
Does anyone know the history of the Batman 66 credit card? I have heard two stories. One is that it was intended to be a real credit card that lost rights and another that it was just a publicity piece. Anyone know the true scoop?

Re: Batman 66 Credit Card
I wrote this question in 2018 about these credit cards.....
"So why does one seller think this is worth $25,000, another $15,000, others for $30, and still others for $8. Are these vintage 1966 produced?"
Didn't really get a good answer, but yes they were 1966, a big supply of them were found and available mid-late '80's, worth $10 in 2018
found this online about the credit card. Don't know if it's accurate or not? "I just recently received one of these for free from Joe Sugarman (aka Blublocker sunglasses guy) and the story of origin. He had them made during initial rise of credit cards and original Batman series with approval from National Periodical only to get disapproved by the president of the company that was their client after 250,000 of them were made. He attempted on several occasions to get them circulated for years only to continually get disapproved by this president. Until several years later when this president was no more, but by then the hype was well extinguished."

I have one. It's nice to know that they are at least vintage '66.

Re: Batman 66 Credit Card
Funny how timing of certain things work, I've owned one of these (in horrible condition) for over fifteen years and not thought about it for a very long time. Then just last weekend, a friend handed me one they had bought for me in an antiques store in Nebraska.
