1990s FLASH returning
John Wesley Shipp played Barry Allen in the 1990 series The Flash on CBS. Now, in the upcoming Arrowverse crossover “Elseworlds,” Shipp will reprise his role in a team-up with today’s generation of heroes

Yeah and he's been on the new Flash as Jay Garrick and Dr. Henry Allen for those of you who have not been following the new Flash series since 2014.

That suit that John wore was much better than the leather one they are using now, IMO. Great to see it again.

The suit was designed by former Don Post Studios sculptor Robert Short who also won the special effects Academy Award for Beetlejuice. I always loved that suit (and the series) too!
