SDCC anyone?
Hello citizens!
We are a few weeks out from SDCC 2015, and in addition to showing off my Batman 66 build I am looking forward to hopefully meeting some fellow board members.
Anyone planning on going?
are there any plans for a "66 themed meet up?
I plan on being there most days , but have to figure the time off from work.
I am looking forward to putting some faces to the cats on my favorite board!
Hope to see you there!

I never made it past the virtual waiting room. I was on the website for an hour and then all tickets were gone. Maybe some year I will get to go. Have fun, take photos.

I'll be there but not set up, I've got client meetings. It's definitely a show worth going to, I get comp tickets as a published pro otherwise I doubt I'd ever get tickets, they sell out in seconds. NYCC is now officially larger than SDCC at least attendance wise and they seem to have more tickets available.

Re: SDCC anyone?
NYCC's ticket selling was a fiasco this year. Several of their servers failed simultaneously, and while some people got online and ordered tickets instantly, many, like me, waited in "the queue" forever and were shut out of many days. I suspect SDCC sells out faster because they sell fewer tickets, because SO many industry people get comped in. NYCC is not so chock-a-block with Hollywood celebrities.
I may be at SDCC for the first time, working at a booth for a friend. That's the only way I could get in.

The most important thing in life is to be yourself. Unless you can be Batman. Always be Batman.

And, IIRC, Adam West was on the list of names that Sheldon wanted to invite to his own version of Comicon.Batman65 wrote:Boy. This all sounds like an episode of Big Bang Theory.. Lol

Yes he was. Too bad he didn't do it.
