Why didn't the "Ma Parker" episodes rhyme?
Part 1 is "The Greatest Mother of Them All", and Part 2 is "Ma Parker". Why no effort to make a rhyme? They could've called the second half "The Greatest Mother Takes a Fall". It would've been so simple.

Yeah, you're right
Re: Why didn't the "Ma Parker" episodes rhyme?
My theory about that is since the cliffhanger wasn't a total death trap and Dozier's narration at the end of "Greatest Mother" was similar to the ones in Season 3, they were experimenting with different cliffhanger ideas since they were running out of decent deathtrap ideas at the time?

Also, if they were to do that way, why didn't they reverse the titles. "Ma Parker" for the first episode and then "The Greatest Mother Of Them All" as part 2. It was Mother's Day at the end of part 2.

Re: Why didn't the "Ma Parker" episodes rhyme?
It wasn't the only set of episodes to not rhyme and not the first.
"The Minstrel's Shakedown" - " Barbecued Batman" was the first set.
Then after Ma Parker they followed up with:
"The Clock King's Crazy Crimes" - "The King Gets Crowned"
"Green Ice" - "Deep Freeze"
Then by 3rd season, no attempt to rhyme the few multi-part episodes was bothered with.
I don't think it had much to do with deathtraps or not. As to "why" they didn't use your suggestion is because you weren't there to help them out at the time.

I liked rhyming titles, but I preferred the ones that were witty or clever. If they could get those to rhyme that was even better.

Great point and great idea. That title would have worked great, surely someone came up with it....?
Has the whole world gone batty!?!?

I never realized the episodes rhymed until I turned into a total Batgeek, oh say 1970 or so...LOL
