Diagnosis Murder

Post by Gleeps, it's Batman »

Someone told me they saw Adam West on a 1998 episode of Diagnosis Murder on the Hallmark Channel. Not having cable, I wouldn't have seen it anyway, but took a chance looking on youtube, and sure enough, the episode is on youtube. I haven't had time to watch the whole thing, but I hopscotched through and saw two scenes with Adam, and he's playing a character named Bruce. LOL. It also seems that this Bruce had a TV show cancelled in 1968 ...

And speaking of murder, I see that Adam's episode of Murder, She Wrote is on Friday January 30th at 4pm Eastern on COZI-TV.

Isn't odd how every guest appearance Adam did, had some sort of silly super hero or "Batmanish" tie-in? Indeed, even his Mayor West on Family Guy has its moments. I guess Adam will never escape the image, even though many people don't remember him as Batman. Penny on Big Bang Theory is a priceless example.

Here's a guest shot on Hart To Hart, which I looked up after someone mentioned it in another thread. I don't recall any Batmanish references in this one, but yes, a lot of his guest appearances did have something superheroish to them.

There was an episode of Police Woman, where in one scene he was reading a Batman comic book! It's on dvd -- but I haven't seen it since the original airing.

LOL. Thanks. If that series ever shows up on one of these retro networks I'll have to keep an eye out for it.
