Fiberglass Freaks Thanksgiving Visit

Post by doubleknotspy »

Had the opportunity to spend a couple of hours with Mark at his shop in Logansport, IN last Friday. What a great time. This was my chance to see the Barris no. 4 car up close. Mark and his team are putting an incredible amount of work into this car. No doubt it will be spectacular when the restoration is completed. Also spent time admiring one of Mark's finished products ready for shipment, FF Texas no. 20. I'm somewhat familiar with restoration and bodywork and these guys are world class. Long drive from Evansville, but well worth it.

Awesome photos! Looks like a great time was had by all! It would be a dream come true to visit Mark and his incredible place of work, "the dream factory" as I think they should have called it ;)

Bring a heavy jumper. It is a bit cool in Logansport. Even colder than northern England as I remember it.

If you don't like the weather in Logansport, just wait fifteen minutes. It'll change! Doubleknotspy's advice is right on for this time of the year. It's in the mid-30s right now, and yes, I drove a Batmobile across town yesterday for an outdoor photo shoot. I sure wish that one had heat like the last one, LOL!
