so this weekend was the Rhode Island Comic Con! I was asked to bring my Batgirl and Catwoman displays along with Chazbat's Batman and Robin for the Batman reunion! They were originally to be displayed behind the actors tables, but do to some logistics they were moved just to their left by the amazing Batmobile (big shout out to the amazing Tony and Tom, you guys are awesome). Adam and Burt were able to make it in on Saturday but due to the issues with the LAX closure, Julie couldnt make it until Sunday. I was anxious to have her see this display which has been about 10 years in the making and remaking! Most of our conversation was a blur, but here I remember her saying "You did that?", "Will it fit?", "I want to steal it", "it looks just like me". Also She announced to her very long line "Do you see that costume, he made it, its for sale for $7,000" I was very flattered and she couldnt have been lovelier! Later in the day we were able to get some shots of her with the display. An amazing moment. Even more amazing that 50 years later, this 80 year old woman still could slip right into that suit! It was truly a moment i will never forget and here are some pics I wanted to share!
I saw both of your displays on Saturday, and I just knew they had to be yours from some of the posts on this board. They were both AMAZING! it was like stepping back into the 1960's !!!
Well, that's terrific! It's nice to get something back for all your invested time, effort, and money! Fantastic that Julie was so nice - very rewarding!

The most important thing in life is to be yourself. Unless you can be Batman. Always be Batman.
I missed Julie since I was only there on Saturday. I'd like to meet her and Yvonne as well. If you guys hear that they will be in the New England area ... drop a line on the board please !!
