Well, here is my attempt at a workable bat-Belt pouch.
I am attempting this with some plastic "FOR SALE" signs from
Home Depot and a heat gun to make the shape. I am melting the plastic around one of the spare wooden blocks that I used for my belt.
Once the flaps were done, I added a back plate.
This will get covered in yellow vinyl. I am not sure what season pouch it's gonna be. maybe season one.
I think that may be more secure.
Wally had some nice plastic boxes vaccuformed a few years back.
The problem with the plastic is managing the flex when you try and snap it closed.
I used aluminum for mine back in the day for a nice firm box.
Unless you make the lunch box sized boxes Adam West had on his "workable" belt, the other issue is when they look right on the outside, the inside has enough room for a business card and that's about it!
Still, you just gotta make it when the bug bites!
Chuck...
Quick, Everyone, Flee for your lives, into the street!!!!
For the flex problem, I was thinking about a faux snap with an earth magnet instead.
It pretty much would be for some business cards and a couple of bucks. maybe the keys to my costume trunk (when needed). I'll probably never use it. lol Just saw the plastic and remembered the heat gun and as Chuck said... the bug bit! lol
