I honestly had forgotten all about the Vinyl Idols line until my girlfriend surprised me with the Adam version yesterday. A lot more charming in person than I thought they looked in the photos online when they were announced a while back.

Just picked up the Batmobile Coin Bank. It's close to 12" long and loads of fun.




Also, I saw the Diamond Select 1966 Batgirl shipped to comic shops today -


but the really good news is Tweeterhead's Batgirl is arriving next week (March 9). Yay!

I had that bank in my hands yesterday at the comic shop but decided to pass since I have so many other versions of the car already. I did like the stamp on the bottom of it with the logo though.

Got the Batmobile bank- love it. I don't know how useful it would actually be as a bank, but that's beside the point.
Amazon price was cheaper than a comic shop-- not sure why I'm so fond of it because I also have way too many Batmobiles-- this one is different. I like the charm of the molded details-- it's slightly soft look and the fact that it's pretty indestructible. I like the Matte finish to it, it's slightly goofy which makes it great. IF they do a plush like this I'm on that too.

Having said that-- I do find that I'm getting pickier. Back in the day if it had Batman on it I'd grab it-- today even if it's '66 Batman I'm selective. Too much stuff syndrome I guess.

So I picked the 1966 Batmobile Bank last night (as mentioned above).
Andy, it really does have a sense of charm about it.

However, this big news is the 1:12 Scale Bat Signal awaiting me when I got home.
This thing is a beauty!! I couldn't wait to go get a battery and light it up!!

Just won this on eBay-- I don't know if it's because the seller had it ending on a Saturday afternoon or what but I got it for about 1/2 what I thought it would go for.

I've been wanting a nice working condition one of these for years, glad to grab it. I had put a proxy bid with gavelsnipe and left for the day to come back and find the happy news I'd won.
