And....he got the death penalty!

His son will have some more substance (I promise, and hope, lol)

What did you think of debutante Earl Grey btw?

Oh, he was a hoot!

Made me think of Jonathan Harris' portrayal of Dr. Smith, he was that fussy.

Danger! Danger!
Ha ha
Thats why I thought of my mate 'Sir' Stephen Fry, it just made sense (and only an English gent would be that fussy). Its not the last we will see of him

Jonathan Harris would have been great on the original show
Almost his modern-day counterpart, David Walliams needs to be on this show. But as whom?

I dunno, there are plenty of American guys who can do fussy very well.

Remember Tony Randall's Felix Unger? If that wasn't fussy, I don't know what was!

As for Joker's son, how about calling him The Jester? Or is that already taken with Harley's schtick?

Just DON'T make him a circus clown!! They are escapees from Hell on a mission to destroy the Earth.

I firmly believe that most of them are vampires protected from the sun with all of the white faced makeup they wear.

That smily face does nothing, I reckon you believe your own theory, lol

Joker jnr is meant to resemble 'daddy', however I do plan to change his appearance, just dont ask what yet

Yeah Tony Randall was the ultimate Fusspot (new villain-anally OCD? )
Dr.Lao is a great film

Just don't let him be a carbon copy of 'daddy', is all I'm asking.

For added tension, how about they DON'T get along at all???

My synopsis is that whatever JJ does it never impresses the Joker

FOCUS ON... NIGHT OF THJE SCARECROW / FRIGHT OF THE SCARECROW

Story seven introduced a comic book villain to the live action series and one voted constantly by fans as one of the best outside of the Big Four. The Scarecrow, aka Dr.Jonathan Crane had previously been seen in animated series as well as the three Christian Bale movies but the foe was considered too frightening back in 1968 to join the Rogues Gallery for the original show.

Written by lifelong 1960s show fan Clavierankh, the episodes showed a softer, albiet non-comical villain to previously depicted for the obvious reasons of this being a family show. The story was critically acclaimed, many stating it is one of the most enjoyable of the first season and the villain himself to be an admirably iconic foe of the new series.

Many actors were considered for the part, ironically former Batman and Scarecrow nemesis Christian Bale being the press' favourite.Bale was not asked(he would appear, however, later on in the series as Dr.Kyle Langstrom who evolved into Man-Bat.
From his roots in England, one of Matt Holme's favourite tv shows was Doctor Who and the 9th Doctor,Christopher Eccleston sparng to mind for the role. He had a menace like look about him,a quirky set of features and Matt felt he could step up from one cult show to another with no issue.

The Scraecrow's moll,Fraidy was played by reality tv star, actress and model Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace.Even though she was 30 at the time of filming, she was a great friend of Matt's, who admitted he was biased in casting her,her being a 'good friend' of his.Critics actually praised her, stating she could easily return in a much bigger capacity and looked like a villain's lady perfectly and not all molls should be 19 years old.

Dr.Syn,Crane's mentor was played by Ally Mc Beal and Mr.Bean star Peter McNichol,a veteran of tv and the character's name being a play on the smuggler-hero of novels of the same name.

The cliffhanger reverted back to like the ones of the original show, in fact the whole story could easily have fit straight into any of the first 2 seasons in 1966/67.The identical format, villain commits crime, the police call the Batphone,Batphone interrupts Bruce and Dick, they answer and slide down the Batpoles etc, gave a near-nostalgic feel and showed adaptability with formats. Where Matt opted for more a continuation of the series, and the odd change in format and structure, some of the production crew were all for recreating the original show. This story in particular showed a mutual respect and and compromise.

The pre-titles was intentionally meant to include the Magpie, played by English comedienne Olivia Lee,but other commitments intervened for the time being. She would eventually fly into Gotham City.Matt then turned to a Louie the Lilac draft, but felt it was more suited to a tale coming up involving the debut of visiting Batgirl. Finally, his production crew (Stephen Moffat,Mark Gattis,Neil Gaiman,Chuck Lorre,Grant Morrison and Patrick Duffy ) were making tea and offered Matt an Earl Grey when he claimed he literally had that 'lightbulb moment' and Earl Grey was born.Having already considered a pickpocket called Tea Leaf, the crew devised a humorous tale of a posh gent with a lower class henchman obtaining tea cargo only to be disappointed that it actually contained coffee.Stephen Fry was cast as Grey,a role he would reprise as a primary foe in season 2 along with Leaf played by Jake Wood who played Max Branning in British soap Eastenders.

Up next...a reunion of a familiar bikini clad babe and her onscreen boss who used to own a talking car
