Corgi Club confirms Batmobile reissue in 2024

Are all of their re-issue cars 1/43? I saw some post somewhere else and they were commenting that all the cars were 1/64.

For the matte exclusive, you would have to join the Corgi Club. I think they expect people to buy the cars the club offers once a month so it might be better to join in September to order the matte Batmobile in October. I asked Corgi Club about it and they weren't that wild about me only joining to order the matte Batmobile. But I told him I'm also going to order their James Bond exclusive and 2 matte Batmobiles and others will order multiple matte Batmobiles and who knows maybe they will order their other cars as well.

The regular Corgi Club website will offer the gloss Batmobile I'm not sure when it will be up for pre-order.

Here's a screenshot of the letter Corgi Club sent.

The Corgi Club ad says members are in control of their membership. So membership can be paused. It's like those record clubs where they offer an album every month. I think I will join then pause and resume in October when the matte Batmobile is available.

Of course later this month I will pre-order the gloss Batmobile. It's like 1966 again but this time we know better and we'll buy more.

I've bought 4-5 re-releases they've done and they've all been in the original 1:43 size.

Hi Lou,

I asked Corgi Club if they would make variations like a red striped Batmobile or a blue Batmobile but they said no as the license is so expensive for a variation. But I think if these Batmobiles sell really well it might encourage them to make variations.

June 17 is the drop for the gloss?

It's hard to tell but it looks like the chain cutter is silver which would be screen accurate. I remember my Corgi Batmobiles as a gold/brass chain cutter. Corgi said they always tarnished to a bronze color.

I think they started the Batmobile pre-order hours earlier than they said they would. I clicked on the link but it said nothing in the collection. Did it sell out?

It was supposed to be available 2:00 a.m. Chicago time but nothing is on the link. They ran this very poorly!

A fan steered me to the correct pre-order URL. They are now accepting pre-orders for the Corgi Batmobile first batch.
Second pre-order will be in 2025.
