My good friend on twitter, Stephen Fry, gave me some ideas: the Beefeater, the Mountie and no name yet but a pilot/aviator obsessed with the capture of old famous planes

He particulary liked Le Artiste, the Woodlouse, Earwig, The Great Dane and a few others.

You never know, i may just convince him to join...

I have an idea for Steffie's identity; she's known as the Belter. Not because she hits people (at least not exclusively, although she's got a mean right hook). It's because she can sing a note that literally knocks people onto their backsides.

I can't decide if she should be a soprano (which is a bit shrill to me), or if she's a 'to-the-rafters', kind of singer.

Have you heard either Idina Menzel as Elphaba in the play 'Wicked' or Charlotte Church sing?

Both are excellent, yet both are entirely different styles.

Maybe she should be able to do both; after growing up in the Carribean with her ancestor CJS, she's been taught a lot by Calypso herself, including many different styles of singing.

Oh, and Siren's power doesn't work on her. She's just a Siren (a real one!), while Steffie is more than likely a descendant of Calypso and Jack (but neither one is saying anything.) Besides, she regards Siren as a squawky, no talent hack who has to depend on a trick note in order to accomplish her goals; whereas Steffie is more of a hands (and fists!) on type of gal.

The Belter is a good name too, perhaps she also collects belts and coverts Batman's utility belt?

The Belter could be the henchwoman of The Siren.

Maybe she WAS a henchwoman and as in the synopsis above she got disatisfied with the Siren and became a supervillainess in her own right

The Belter can't abide Siren, as I said before.

And there's no way any offspring of the Riddler would be satisfied with being a mere Henchwoman, not even in a starting position.

I like the idea of collecting belts, but she goes for tasteful, feminine belts.

The Batman's belt would be too clunky, not to mention not match anything she has.

Batgirl's belt is another story, but she'd win it by trickery.
