I’d be all over Angelique! 🤣 (But, certainly Barnabas and Quentin Collins/werewolf.) I could even see a Collinwood playset!

I remember watching the last week of the show. It seemed to me like they spent several days just walking up the stairs to get to that locked room at the top. Unfortunately, we had to go somewhere on the series finale day and I never did find out what was in that room or how the series ended!

I bought the very first issue of a Marvel comic called “Spoof,” which had a well-done parody of the show called “Darn Shadows.”

Anyway, I’m still hoping for more Batman villains, even henchmen and molls.

Would it be the current or original mansion?

Oh, original for me. I’m thinking something like the drawing room and vestibule, which would be perfect for so many other figures as well, like Scooby Doo or Elvira, etc.

Sorry, I meant Old Mansion (Barnabas modern dwelling) or New Mansion (main house in the TV series with the descendants located there.

Oh, I see. I thought it was a reference to the Johnny Depp movie or the “modern” 1990s series. But, frankly, I’ll take any playset from the original series.

By the way, I think they’re working on a reboot of the series.

If you have Amazon Prime, Biff, you can watch the whole series including the finale.

Hey, are you kidding? You can add Adam, Nicholas Blair (or in a two-pack with his Master), the twins Tom Jennings (vampire) and Chris Jennings (werewolf, and a buck is saved for toy manufacturers who recycle the same molds), Willie Loomis, Count Petofi (with that removable, grisly hand), Rev. Trask, Vampire Josette, Ghost Josette, Ghost Sarah, Dr. Julia Hoffman, Prof. Stokes, Laura the Phoenix, and zombies (I believe they were in the parallel timeline arc).

Dark Shadows has such a wealth of characters, that any toy company could do a number of waves based on them.

For fans like you and me, Hornet-- I agree-- I was thinking more along the lines of general public.
But if people are willing to buy Clock King I'd give Vampire Josette a pretty good chance of selling.

Some Ross Dress for Less stores in the US have been getting a few older waves of McFarlane retro '66 Batman figures. So far spotted--Penguin, Superman, and Villain's Lair playset. As Ross is a closeout/off-price retail chain, inventory is extremely hit and miss. The figures were $4.99 and the Lair playset $7.99.

WOw $4.99 is where the pricepoint on a toy should be.

Andy,
30 years ago that was the pricepoint. maybe 35 years ago. When you're retired, time slips away...
