This time around? Unless toy production has changed drastically, I think this entire line died well over a year ago. It looks like they barely got started on Series 2 and when it was officially terminated internally, they decided to pump out what was close to complete. Like Surfs Up Joker.
Harder to figure out why the wait on Batgirl and the Batcave when Batgirl was done over a year ago. To be a fly on the wall in Mattel conference rooms.

It baffles me that we can't get more villains in this line, while the Mego style figures have produced Shame, Mad Hatter, Mr. Freeze, Egghead, King Tut... etc.
"When we get to the royal oil boiling room, be sure to prepare some real boiling royal boiling oil to boil the boy wonder in... royally."
Mattel has been notorious for making the worst female bucks for DC Comics. The He-man and wrestling FEMALE figures are solid, but I don't collect them. I probably will buy this and make my extra Dynamic Duo into Lyle Waggoner & Peter Deyell! LOL!
I saw that posting as well on Action Figure Insider.
I wonder if the remaining "leftovers" from SDCC were available both in-store and on their website, for a short time.
I frequent a few TRU's and I've never seen the SDCC Batgirl on the pegs.
I picked mine up when it was available online.

Anyone else seen this Batgirl on the pegs at TRU?

I have been checking a few times this week and have not spotted them yet. My local TRU has had 3 of each of the 3 pack and Batcave sets sitting there for a few weeks now, also a Batmobile with figures.
I would be very surprised if any of us were to spot the SDCC Batgirl on the pegs. I would think at this point they are all sold out.
I hate to say it, but with the passing of Yvonne, people will buy this figure thinking they can make a quick buck on her passing.
Well, I wouldn't have believed it if I had not seen it for myself.
Was at the TRU in Seal Beach, Ca yesterday and came upon all these Batgirls!!
Heck, they may run these on clearance there were so many.
