SEASON ONE
Story Three

THE CLOWN PRINTS A CRIME

SPECIAL GUEST STAR
JAVIER BARDEM
AS
THE JOKER
WITH
SPECIAL GUEST PRE-TITLES VILLAIN
JIM PARSONS
AS
THE RIDDLER

In the pre-credits we see a prison guard knock out 3 others and is chased in Arkham Asylum by other guards, dodging bullets and tackles all the way up to the watch tower. There, the rogue guard reveals himself to be the Riddler and just as the guards look like they have captured him, he launches himself at a passing helicopter being flown by one of his goons. However, he loses grip and falls 107ft down into the choppy waters around the funny farm.....

The main story sees various stand-up acts tell a same joke and when they do they become hypnotized, shoot at the crowd and walk off. Bruce and Dick are in the audience when a Welsh comedian, Dai Laughing opens fire, missing everyone, then shoots himself (off screen)
O'Hara is investigating the Joker's escape from a week ago and finds a book in one of the sleeper stand-up's apartment. The book, "Jack Napier's Make 'Em Larff" is in every one of the kamikaze comics' placed of residence.
Batman and Robin follow a clue to a disused book printers, and after a punch- up, the Joker ad his cohorts escape. Commissioner Gordon orders the closing of all comedy clubs indefinitely.
The Joker tells his moll ( Giggles played by Beth Behrs) and the viewers that he had set a plan years ago to create an army of Jokers by using his Special Sleeper Serum within the pprinting ink of his first book of puns. The comics will be his slaves, he also thinks that Dai was an unfortunate side-effect.
Batman and Robin follow Giggles to C.C Whiteface's Joke Emporium, but it is a trap and another fight occurs.
Meanwhile, O'Hara feels funny briefing Gordon and Bash and he becomes hypnotized, after reading a few of the jokes and raises his gun at his 2 contemporaries , clearly victim of touching the print in a book.
Alfred is with his best friend Stand-Up Steve, a wheelchair comic, who tells the joke while practising to his butler friend. Suddenly, the comic pulls a lever and his drives at Alfred.
Robin is overpowered, and just as Batman goes to help, the Joker uses a box of banana skins to make him slip.
The Duo are knocked out by stink bombs and the baddies escape, but the Joker plants exploding whooping cushions under the seats of the Batmobile, and drives off in the Jokermobile.
The Duo awaken and give chase, see that the villain has taken off in his car and Batman tells Robin, "To the Batmobile"

ARE THE DUO ABOUT REST IN PIECES?
IS STAND-UP ABOUT TO KNOCK ALFRED DOWN?
IS THE CHIEF ABOUT TO MAKE THE POLICE DEPT A LAUGHING MATTER?

THERE'S ONLY WAY TO FIND OUT
TUNE IN LATER
SAME BAT TIME
SAME BAT CHANNEL

ONE WARNING- THE WORST JOKES ARE YET TO COME!

Pretty good, I went to see the Hobbit at my local theater.

I got a bad case of sticker shock at the concession stand. Get this: Chicken tenders, french fries and a large drink; $18.75!!!!

I figured that if I could hold out for three hours, I could have pot roast, red rice, salad and soda at home for nothing.

I just wish they had intermissions; sitting on your tushie for three hours leads to numbness and stiff legs.

No kidding. From now on, I may just wait for it to come out on DVD, then watch it at home and take as many comfort breaks as I please after pausing it.

The movie was excellent. It moves a bit slow at first, but then the action kicks in.

My only complaint is the 3d process makes it seem as if the actors are directly in your face.

The stories are pretty good, but I wish there was a bit more dialogue on the part of the participants.

I wrote about 12 years ago a series of episode plots/stories in the style of the series but with all new villains, here is one with Woody Allen as Dr. Neurotic, who turned to crime after flunking out of the Bovine Psychology program at Gotham University at New Guernsey.

I wrote a Riddler story, over at a certain site (don't know if I can name it here, since I don't know how the mods feel about fanfic.)

I haven't gotten a whole lot of reviews for it, which is disappointing.

There are three chapters up, but with so little feedback, I kind of gave up on it.

I tried to go for drama, and to capture the attitudes and voices of the main characters as well as I could.

Send me a PM, if interested, and I'll tell you where it is.

4theboids that is superb! What s great story
With your permission I would love to add this to the series, and can still have Woody Allen as Dr.Neurotic
It exactly captured the ethos of the show
