Dr Cassandra purse prop found

Post by rsaffle »

I think I figured out what they used for Dr Cassandra's bamboo fish purse.
I found two companies that hand made wicker purses. It is either a
vintage Midas of Miami purse or another listing called it Lazy Miami Days Midas fish purse. They are very collectable ( and ugly ) so I doubt anyone will care to get one but I had fun tracking this down.

Yes, Randy. I had found similar a couple of years ago, but they’re always expensive.

Here’s one on eBay, like the one you posted, but still $550 OBO:

This was my exciting discovery when watching the DVD boxed set! Almost all of Dr Cassandra's outfit had been repurposed from previous episodes: the fish purse, the earrings, the ring, the tights, the dress...

Here's the Puzzler's moll, Rocket O'Rourke, wearing the ring that would eventually go to Cassandra.

Minstrel's moll, Octavia wore the pink and orange mini dress, and Josie was wearing the same dress in Part 1 of a Joker two-parter. In Part 2, Josie turns up in a new orange number (or is it Rocket's?) -- and it is teamed with the orange tights and the dangly, plastic earrings we later see on Cassandra.
