I checked it out and this is the same belt that was auctioned off back in 2023 from the Greg Jein collection that got auctioned through Heritage Auctions. It's a legit item. Expensive of course but legit. It originally sold for $36,250.00.Listing:
32. Batman's (Adam West) Utility Belt
Current absentee: $20,000 (1 bid)
Estimate: $40,000 - $80,000
Starting: $20,000
https://propstoreauction.com/lot-detail ... lot/156886
Bidding for this lot will end on Wednesday, March 26th. The auction will begin at 10:30AM PDT and lots are sold sequentially via live auctioneer; tune in to the live streaming broadcast on auction day to follow the pace. Note other lots in the auction may close on Thursday, March 27th or Friday, March 28th.

That's pretty quick in terms of flipping a collectible--hopefully the seller isn't in some financial straights and was forced to sell. Still, if props (especially legitimate ones) are going the way of other collectibles like comics and comic art in auctions then this should hit crazy numbers

Before the Greg Jein auction, I was going over the various belts with my friend Stewart, who was in the market for one.
I liked this one because it illustrates two types of tube attachments. The flat brass strip and the round rod.
I am such a geek!
I agree, it's a fast flip. The #3 Batmobile went for half of what everyone thought it would so I wish the seller luck in this market.

Do any super sleuths have an idea which episode this might be from? Maybe one of the multiple Batmans from “Instant Freeze/ Rats like Cheese”?

It's hard to say. The belts that Greg Jein auctioned had belt boxes from the entire run of the show.Jimmy L. 66 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 11, 2025 2:01 pm Do any super sleuths have an idea which episode this might be from? Maybe one of the multiple Batmans from “Instant Freeze/ Rats like Cheese”?
The "tied in the back" belt style was first season. Elastic was used from the second season to the end of the show.
Hubie auctioned his complete suit (with TWO cowls) in the 90s if I recall correctly. So they weren't his...

Maybe discussed when this went up before but I think at least the right side (looking on screen) of the auction belt is the one on
the bottom of the 3 belt photo picture. The buckle and its defects look the same, so does the stitching past the buckle, and that first pouch is the same, same 2 holes at the end of the leather.
maybe this large photo upload link will work? attachment link is limited to 2MB
