Doesn't look like a Chuck cowl to me.

Lucky Dale Elkins!

I’m pretty sure that’s not Williams Studios work. If I’m wrong, I’ll eat my… cowl.

With the Superfriends taking over the line, is that it for ‘66 McFarlane figures?

Also, how does Mattel getting the DC license affect all of these lines going forward for McFarlane?

Shame we didn’t get Mad Hatter.

Was still hoping to get a few more figures as well as Commissioner Gordon’s office and Barbara Gordon’s apartment.

That's not Chuck's handiwork.

Ok, now that I’ve seen the video, this is not a great cowl. A smidge better than the Mattel cowl, but not even as good as Action costumes ( or whatever they go by now). Obviously not in the same universe as Chuck. It does look like the picture on the box however.I guessed that there would be more than one prize. All together sort of a let down. That figure is one of my favorite though.

I wouldn't be surprised if there's more figures/other items in the future for the McFarlane retro Batman '66 line, including possible store exclusives or McFarlane Toys Store exclusives. This is my speculation, not based on any rumors/gossip. Clearly, Todd McFarlane is a retro Batman '66 fan.

Todd is definitely a fan. Way I understand it, Mattel has the license for figures-- so McFarlane could potentially continue statues but figures would come to an end.

Mattel doesn't reclaim the rights to create action figures/collectibles based on DC characters (Batman, Superman, etc.) until the second half of 2026. So McFarlane better get crackin' on more retro '66 Batman!

I watched a YouTube guy saying they are not planning anymore 66 figures. I don't remember where he lives but he claims his distribution center knows far in advance and they don't have anything on the schedule.

Btw, I made a MacFarlane style Batgirl changing room and got about 75% printed and stopped for other stuff. It was looking pretty cool if I say so myself. Need to go back at it now that the cycle is out.

Too many things I want to make.

Toy Shiz from ToyFair 2025 claims there is a possibility that McFarlane's Batman retro '66 line could continue in spite of the Q2 2026 move of the DC multiverse license from McFarlane back to Mattel. All being discussed, per Toy Shiz.

Discussion starts at about the 1:00 mark. Then later he reveals and discusses the McFarlane Super Friends (retro wave 12 line) around 3:35. Lots of closeups of the figures and accessories. Toy Shiz' reviewer raves over the new Super Friends figures, coming Spring 2025.
