Re: New Batarang Scaled Prop Replica:
Nice idea but something about it seems inaccurate. It doesn't look like it folds and it doesn't seem like the metallic blue paint.

Re: New Batarang Scaled Prop Replica:
Just FYI, not all Batarangs folded. Here's the metal one from the show that was auctioned last year.
.
.
And then here is the pre-order image of Monsters in Motion's offering.
For me, the sculpt is a bit too angular and sharp with its bevels as opposed to the original's treatment . The width and tapering of the middle "bat body" throws it off moreso for me.

Yep, I got one of the Neca Bat-a-rangs and the flat planes made it look like a foamie piece. The size was good though.
I also got one from CY recently and while the shapes are better, it feels too large in the body compared to the auction images.
Something in between these two I think...
I have a Robin Bat-a-rang I got in L.A. a million years ago that was cast off an original. Has a sculpted feel to it rather than machined.
I wonder if the clinking sound effect is a recording of the aluminum bat-a-rang hitting metal??? I can't believe they cast some in metal!!!

I do like the idea that its only 6" long & made of metal.
Could make a cool desktop piece, but who has any space left? Not me! lol

The Bat-a-rangs seem like something you would have sculpted by now? Hint, hintChuck Williams wrote: ↑Wed May 08, 2024 9:02 am I have a Robin Bat-a-rang I got in L.A. a million years ago that was cast off an original. Has a sculpted feel to it rather than machined.

This sort of speaks the the Catwoman gun thread as well? Old school rough, or new cleaned up hotness?
You can never have too many batarangs however.

Chuck, PLEASE make a metal folding Adam West Batarang. I'd definitely buy one.
