Next wave is January. The post did no indicate if it was an announcement or shipments, or the release figures.

I may have read that wrong. GameStop is receiving Wave 8 in January

It is interesting that there is such a delay between GameStop showing availability online (as in I order the figures now) or wait another two months to be able to walk into their store and purchase off the peg.

Hmmmm...looks like the upcoming Filmation '66 Batman got accidentally mixed in with a Super Powers picture:

Gamestop just reported lower earnings, beating expectations but still losing money as the market moves to online gaming. a year from now they may be something new or completely gone.

Walmart stores in the US are carrying various products from the McFarlane Batman retro line. I saw the BatBoat and BatCycle tonight at a Walmart. I've heard about others spotting them, too. No sign of action figures.

I got this from another group

ATTN: LEAK alert! Here is the first look at the McFarlane 66 WAVE 9!
By the looks of it, they are branching the toyline out further now by adding the 1977 FILMNATION cartoon series "The New Adventures Of Batman" to the mix.
"The New Adventures Of Batman" first aired on February 12th, 1977. The cartoon series only had 1 season that consisted of 16 episodes. Adam West and Burt Ward reprised their roles and voiced the Batman and Robin character's in this animated series (which, in my opinion still gives it that '66 feel to it).
Here is the written list from the first picture posted below, along with some animated stills from the cartoon to give you an idea of what you may expect to see:
- DC RETRO 6IN WV9 - BATMAN 66 - BATGIRL (NEW ADVENTURES OF BATMAN VARIANT).
- DC RETRO 6IN WV9 - BATMAN 66 - BATMAN (NEW ADVENTURES OF BATMAN VARIANT). (Adam West voiced)
- DC RETRO 6IN WV9 - BATMAN 66 - ROBIN (NEW ADVENTURES OF BATMAN VARIANT). (Burt Ward voiced)
-DC RETRO 6IN WV9 - BATMAN 66 - THE JOKER (NEW ADVENTURES OF BATMAN VARIANT).
- DC RETRO 6N WV9 - BATMAN 66 - THE RIDDLER (NEW ADVENTURES OF BATMAN VARIANT).
- DC RETRO 6IN WV9 - BATMAN 66 - COMMISSIONER GORDON (NEW ADVENTURES OF BATMAN VARIANT).

That’s too bad. I had hoped for more 1966 TV show releases. About the only one worth buying out of this group, in my opinion, would be Clay Face (if they ever release that figure) simply because it looks similar to the one in the animated opening to the TV show, and, depending on the final product, maybe Commissioner Gordon to be utilized as an Alfred.

What's next, Bat-Mite or the pink Riddler that we never actually got to see?
Yeah, I think that I'm pretty much done with this line.
I get the fact that there are plenty of people that love many different versions of Batman, but for me, It's the Adam West TV show or nothing.
Just my opinion.

Why do a Commissioner Gordon animated and not for the '66 tv show line? I would think sales for the animated would be lower than the tv show version.
BTW, how does a collector have room for all of the multi color Ninja stealth Batmen of the world. I have enough problems just storing the '66 stuff.
