Beast Kingdom 1966 Batman & Robin
The Toyark website has shown these Beast Kingdom 1966 Batman & Robin figures from a display at SDCC. Does not say what scale but I believe this is part of their DAH 1/9 scale line. It also does not say whether they are going to be sold together or separate. There is also no price, but some of these figures cost from $60 individually to $150 in pairs.

They teased these awhile back. They look a bit like 8” Hot Toys versions. I like them and will buy the pair, but I hope they paint the wrists the color of the gloves as it’s the only thing I’m not crazy about the flesh color showing through.
I was kind of hoping we’d see Mezco One:12 versions of Batman and Robin by now. Especially how fast their 5 point set sold out.

Why does Batman have Reese Witherspoon’s chin?

I’m in! Really cool to see figures of this detail in this scale, even in this proto stage.

You're not getting hot toys level but you're not paying hot toys level either-- I like 'em. I think the Batman head sculpt, at least in this prototype, is pretty solid.

Something "toylike" about the look that I love. Like Andy said, the face pulls it all together. Batmans blue could be a little better?

I like these a lot for the price. The one thing bugging me is the laces/eyelets extending way too far down Robin's tunic. Perhaps it would look better to nudge his belt down and try to cover them.

So these figures are out. I checked my pre order from Big Bad Toy Co and it still says expected September?
I may cancel it and order direct from Beast Kingdom. People say they have them in hand and love them.

Thanks for the update, Sir! I was thinking about these as I was walking the floor at San Diego Comic Con hoping for a glimpse of these.
