A NEW Hornet in town!
Love your comments on the new outfit! Some of the original pics showed Gordon Jones with black around his eyes. Thoughts?
Re: A NEW Hornet in town!
Looks cool to me sir! I've never noticed black around the eyes. I'll go take a look.

You should recreate a movie serial poster with your new look.
Maybe posing like this.

You've pretty much nailed the look of the character. I like the dark green coat, and the mask turned out well. It's interesting how a few subtle changes in the costume makes the character seem more menacing. Great job!

Thanks for the great comments. Check out the pic below. One with blacked eyes and the other without. I'm not sure how I feel about each but I think I tend towards the blacked out look. Headed to the store to get some eye black to give it a try. I'll post the result for comment.

Very nice! Of course this version has much more mysterious and secretive look to it but from an actors standpoint the mask of course hampers the creative output that's why it was changed. And it looks like earlier on, the eye holes were more narrow and they opened them up larger later, maybe that's why the black eye paint was used/tried?

That looks the business to me. Can't imagine there's too many "Serial Green Hornets" out there. Well done.

Photoshop the dark eye look for you.

Re: A NEW Hornet in town!
You already did that with this mask. LOL
Black is not needed to me.

I love the look of this costume – great job! Black around the eyes looks great. You could probably do it easier by wearing a form-fitting domino mask underneath. I’d also suggest darkening the rims in the eyeholes of the GH mask a bit.
EDIT: Never mind the eye hole rim darkening, just realized that the light color I observed was an artifact of rsaffle's photoshop.

LOL! That poster looks legit! Nice work, as usual, Randy!
NOW, Greg, you have something to autograph and hand out when you make appearances!
