For those who aren't familiar with the periodic table, sodium's abbreviation is NA. But Dell, has forced me to put up the original sheet music (Second page) by Neal Hefti. Heck guys! Come on! You can clearly hear what they're singing!

I actually listened to the opening and they are singing dah dah dah. But everyone I have ever heard sing it impromptu says na na na. For the vocal part at the end of the theme, sure, but the main melody through most of the song isn't vocalized or even a lyric except for "Batman." Folks singing "Na" as a vocalization of the music itself should be perfectly fine.
