One Last Time

I'm going to try this one last time although it will probably be futile. With MotorCity Comic Con this weekend and being unable to go I am starting to believe that there will be no Canadian Appearances by Adam West and Burt Ward. Not as many conventions in Canada as in the US. So if there is anyone who might have some inside information please let me know since this is the end of Appearances. Thanks

I'm not sure I understand this question-- my guys are at the show. Are you asking if anyone knows if Adam and Burt will be making any Canadian appearances? I'd suggest checking the NEWS section at www.adamwest.com but as I've said in another post anybody who's hoping to meet Adam I'd make it a priority-- he's coming up on 90 years old, and these shows are exhausting even to someone half his age.

Yes AndyFish that is the question that I am asking. But every time that I do I'm told to check the events page.
Which unfortunately is of no help. I know that there are people on here who are close to the people who represent Adam West and Burt Ward who might be able to find out if there are any Canadian Dates.

As i've mentioned in response to your other similar thread, between our board and the website that Adam and Burt's "people" have put in place, you won't miss out on news of any of the upcoming appearances that get announced - http://www.1966batevents.com/

And there is no "insider" information-- I can tell you from experience there is often talk of an upcoming show somewhere, but it's not announced until the deal is done-- so it's not anyone's place other than the "official" sites to announce, otherwise there would be a lot of disappointments because for whatever reason many appearances in the works don't happen. I know of at least two last year.

But like Ben said-- once an appearance is finalized it's announced, they aren't trying to keep any secrets. But I do get where you're coming from-- you'd hate to make the trip several hundred miles and then three months later they are doing something near you. However, as I said, with their advancing ages and schedules I wouldn't hesitate to put the effort in to see them if this is something that's important to you. You may not get a second chance.
