Holy Disneyland Batman!

Tonight, my GF, her daughter, her daughter's son and I went to Disneyland's Mickey's Halloween Party. I went out for the first time in my new bat costume. We had no idea that I'd end up taking a couple of hundred photo's with children, adults and other villains including the joker, riddler and even the Marvel Universe. I'll post some pics, but I was extremely flattered with the compliments, attention and requests for photo's. At one point I literally took 30 photo's with different people in a row and there was a line. "Classic" Batman is a favorite of many as I was to find out. Little kids love the detachable bat logo. When I took a picture with the little ones, I'd remove my velcro crest and place it on their costume and it stuck most times because of the velcro. Parents loved it! Then I'd put it back on for the second picture. I was extremely flattered with the attention and time people took to tell me they loved the costume and the look of the '66 Batman.

What a night! HOLY DISNEYLAND, Batman!!!!!

That sounds like an absolutely AWESOME time. Congratulations on your debut! At this point, I have not stepped out in my bat suit as of yet. I can tell you that my wife showed my pics to some of her co-workers and they flipped and told her how "cool" it was, to which I responded that I wouldn't do it if it wasn't cool..lol. One even asked if I had the little red button in the belt buckle. Yes I believe there are tons of 66' batman fans out there, as you just found out. I think Halloween is going to be a hoot this year. I can't wait to see your pics.

Hi Doug,
I just checked out Your pictures. Totally Awesomely GROOVY!!!!. Have You thought about having Your GF do Batgirl? If She is the one You are with in the small picture with You giving the "Hang-10" sign, You might encourage Her to go as the "Silk Spectre" from "The Watchmen" series of comics and movie. Now THAT would be one dream pair-up: Silk Spectre and Batman 66.....sigh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
