I am an "old timer" and do not remember this ad. If I had seen it I would remember it because this then young Republican would not have liked Batman mentioning LBJ. I had a Goldwater sticker in my bedroom during the 1964 election.

I don't think Batman or Adam did the PSA for any particular party, but for his country, regardless of whoever was occupying the Oval Office. Had Batman gone on for another season, I'm sure Adam would have done the same for President Nixon, much like Clayton Moore did one for Vice President Nixon and Ike in the 50's.BatandGHfan54 wrote:I am an "old timer" and do not remember this ad. I do remember LBJ and his beagle being portrayed in the feature when Batman successful rehydrated the nine members of the security council: "Success! Success!We've done it! We've done it!"
