Adam not or barely in an episode?
IIRC this is a claim he makes in his autobio, saying a double filled in for virtually the entire episode. Anyone know which one this was?

Well, if it wasn't the one in the third season with the wind up mice, I'll bet he wishes it were.

I haven't read Adam's book, but I do remember reading an article somewhere online where I think he said he was in the hospital for 5 days with exhaustion and maybe a little bit of pneumonia. Perhaps they did a lot of shots from the back with the stuntman during that time so they wouldn't fall too far behind in the filming schedule? No idea what episode(s) was/were being done at the time he was in the hospital.

I'm thinking it might have been a S2 episode, since they cranked out 94 half-hour episodes (not to mention a full-length movie) in the space of about 15 months. That kind of pace would run anyone into the ground.

My bet has always been on "True or False Face/Holy Rat Race." Hubie Kerns, Adam's stunt double, can clearly be seen in a significant percentage of these shows, particularly in the second episode.
