Sorry old chum, I was bidding against you on that one, it is a crazy piece. Feel bad about driving the price up.

No worries, Andy - my max bid was considerably higher than the final price. This was too good to pass up.

The pose of that squirt gun is just all kinds of wrong.

Man, that poster is incredible. I'm stating the obvious, but stuff was so incredible back then. Glad I grew up when I did. Now, everything looks has the same dark, bland, in-the-box, style-guide look.

That is a sweet poster!
I believe that is a Dick Giordano poster, done when he was at Continuity Studios (which he ran with Adams). I'll take another look at it when I'm not on my iPad mini -- pics are sometimes small.

Re: The Latest Batman Item You Acquired?
Hello everyone. I am thrilled to have found this forum and become a member. My name is Gary Schaeffer and along with the 76 year old creator Mel Birnkrant we own the Outer Space Men. For those who know me you all know my passion for the OSM and how I have brought them back along with Mel's invaluable help is building this brand over the past 13 years.
I was contacted yesterday by a member of this board and we were talking about my Batman collection and the 2 last pieces that I still have from the massive collection which sold years ago on eBay. He suggested that I take a look at this forum as there was a thread that he forwarded to me about the Bat-O-Rama.
I own the only example of the toy and I wanted to share the images with you all as I think that it belongs here within this forum.
So here are the images and as you will see I custom built a UV resistant case for the toy so that it can withstand a nuclear blast and stay as mint as it is forever.
I hope to meet you all and chat about stuff including the Bat-O-Rama and the huge Colorforms Batman red playset which are the last 2 Bat pieces that I own and please go take a look at the official OSM website; http://www.theouterspacemen.com
I tried starting a new topic however I think that I did something wrong. Anyway I am posting the images again. Best, Gary.

Glad to help out Mike!
The work Giordano did at continuity often featured Adams ghosting parts of it, as is the case today with most joint studios, we all pitch in here and there.
Welcome Gary! Great piece and the outer space men rock!
