Re: Salaries Questions

Sherwood Schwartz discussed this issue in his book about either Gilligan Island or the Brady Bunch. He was looking for residuals from Gilligans Island and he was told by the studio that it was not making money. Because the Brady Bunch was so successful, while it was running, he as able to afford to ...

Re: 3rd Season Salaries

Thank you, Andy. Very interesting. Burt Ward needed a better agent.

3rd Season Salaries

I am wondering if any or all of the cast had to take pay cuts for the 3rd season with the show only airing once a week instead of two nights per week. It would be hard for everyone’s salaries to be reduced to half of what they were making compared to the first two seasons. Does anyone know? I’m just...

Re: SUNDAY, JULY 4, 1971

I remember that day as well. My parents would not take me to the movie in the theater because they were sure the film was edited together with episodes of the show. Fast forward to July 4, 1971 and we were camping on the Oregon coast with no TV to check out the movie. However, I did watch most of it...

Re: Batman Binge Options

The Vudu HD streaming of BATMAN includes all of the “next week villain announcements” exactly as they aired at the conclusion of the episodes. It also has the Season 2 preview at the conclusion of the first part of the Archer episode, just like it originally aired. This was one of the bonus features...

Re: Hi Diddle Riddle Opening Narration

I am glad that WB mistakenly put the wrong “narrator-less” episodes on the first batch of Blu-ray and DVD discs. With the replacement copies we get to have “both” versions at no extra cost. It is a nice bonus treat to have it both ways.

'66 BATMAN in new film GLASS

I went to an advanced screening Tuesday night of GLASS and to my surprise there is a scene in the film in a comic book store where the TV was showing BATMAN with Batman, Robin and Penguin. It was the episode FINE FEATHERED FINKS and it clearly showed the video and had the audio track playing from th...

Re: ARCHIE MEETS BATMAN '66 Coming this Summer

I'm sorry but not only does it look like a farce but Archie and the Gang are even drawn poorly and not like their 1966 selves. I'll pass.

Re: My Tribute to Adam West; 37 Years of Friendship

I enjoyed reading your tribute, Wally. The only time I got to meet Adam was in 1989 in Monmouth, Oregon when he did an appearance. Western Oregon University played a portion of Adam's Batman movie and then Mr. West himself came out and fielded questions from the crowd. Afterwards was an autograph se...

Re: Adam has died

Thank you, Adam West. It's all I can say. It looks like the villain Lou Kemia did what no other villain could do, but I know you are in a wonderful place now. I am a better man and a richer person for having been entertained by you for all these years. Rest in peace.

Re: I Never Knew This!!!

Okay, I'm sure that some (maybe most) of you already know this but I just learned about it today. So, please forgive me if it's already been discussed on the board. King Tut's real name was Professor William Omaha McElroy . William Dozier's full name was, William McElroy Dozier and he was born in O...

I figured that they changed clothes during the commercial break and the opening theme song; that simple.

Re: ***SPOILERS*** ROTCC Discussion

I've heard that William Shatner is going to voice Two-Face for the sequel. Could this be an animated version of Harlan Ellison's script that never got produced, like the comic book adaptation that came out a couple of years ago? Does anyone know about that?

Re: THANK YOU!

Wally,

I was wondering if you recorded your lines with the other cast members like Adam, Burt and Julie or were they recorded singly. In other words, how fun was it acting with these legends?
