Re: I'm Trying to I.D. the Books in the Wayne Study

in the vein attempt OK, Ben, are you making a “Batman = Dracula“ pun here or was this like the dozens of speech-to-text errors I get every day? The urge to lie to you and tell you that it was in fact a wonderful pun on my part is strong, but Batman taught me better than that. Bingo, voice to text s...

Re: Custom extra McFarlane action figures

Cool! You could make a Bruce Wayne that way too. After the Wayne Manor library playset came out, I was fully expecting a McFarlane Bruce Wayne to be next! I honestly think we'll see it before the line is done. Keep in mind they've had their Adam/Bruce sculpt since the very first wave, way before we...

Re: I'm Trying to I.D. the Books in the Wayne Study

It *might* be worth asking Scott to see if there is any scope to do a fancy AI upres on the Blu Ray captures he did, in the vain attempt at making out any more of those titles.

Or the old-fashioned approach would be to show this to antique book store owner/collector?

Re: Batman: Caped Crusader first look photos

I will say I do think Paul Dini played a much bigger role in the success of BTAS than most people give him credit for. I mean, just look at some of the stuff Bruce Timm's done on his own without Dini's input, like the Batman & Harley Quinn or The Killing Joke animated movies. Talk about yikes.....

Re: Batman: Caped Crusader first look photos

I'm actually really excited for this! I love Old Hollywood-era film noir, and it looks like this show is taking more than a few pages from that playbook. It's also interesting to note that apparently this show's characterization of Catwoman is going to be based on Barbara Stanwyck's character in Th...

Re: Batman: Caped Crusader first look photos

I'm excited about this, have been since the get go on this project which seems like a looooong time ago now. I adore BTAS, it's my "other" Batman, for sure. I'm remaining optimisitic that Timm's more recent track record is not going to similarly define the shape of this show. Very intruige...

I've not heard anything about this since this thread in 2017:

Re: Podcast Topics

I think it would be really nice to hear the story of Dozier's Green Hornet, from concept to screen - exploring it's relationship with the Batman TV show and contextualising its similarities and differences that defined the Green Hornet series for better and for worse. I have some paperwork from Dozi...

Re: #5 and Batcycle discovered in MI (possibly)

According the lore as laid out by Clint Young, Butts built two cars for the movie "Rockstar". As AP mentioned, Dan Rodruiguez has had one of them since 2000, but is it possible that the car in question in this thread is the second "Rockstar" car? https://cyproductions.com/rollove...

Let's roll! You guys kept me company with episode three whilst I was sat in LA traffic yesterday, barely a mile or so from The Culver Studios.

Also, Greg, you're having way too much fun with that theremin! Haha

Very cool! The flesh tone reads really nicely on top of the translucent cast.
