Re: Nagging Joker Question
It makes more sense when you realize Joker has paused in the middle of a sentence, and the reference to parties is setup for a punchline:
"Songs are for parties, my caped copper—and so is confetti!"
It's prelude to him tossing the tricky streamers stashed in his utility belt.

Re: What episodes did these appear in?
Batman snaps the batcuffs on Zelda at the end of A Death Worse than Fate, but visibility on them isn't very good. A better view occurs about midway through The Penguin's Nest, when Batman takes Pengy into custody after the mock umbrella-gun execution of chef Cordy Bleu.

Re: Catwoman pistol question
I am just amazed that they thought to use the tail of the cat to wrap all the way around the handle and serve as the trigger guard. Who would’ve seen a detail like that on the small screen back in 1966, or even the big screen now? Pretty clever. That is an incredible detail, and one I hadn't notice...

Dick Tracy Crossover
Mike Curtis, the writer of the Dick Tracy comic strip, has a soft spot for comic fandom and pop culture Easter eggs, and the current storyline has a subplot involving everyone's favorite automobile. The fun starts with this strip.

Re: Soupy Sales TV special March 1966 - Batman content?
Cool find! Here's a (non-Batman-related) clip from that pilot, which never aired, according to the person who posted this to YouTube.
As stuff from that era goes, I think the comedy has aged pretty well. (It tickles me a lot more than Milton Berle's schtick, for example.)

Re: Wil Shriner
Does anyone know the broadcast date? Googling around, I found a newspaper archive page for the Palm Beach (FL) Post TV listing guide published Sunday May 8, 1988 that seems to indicate the Shriner reunion aired on Friday, May 13, 1988. The archive site wants a subscription fee to view the page in d...

Re: Bat Board Photo
Cool find! A hot-rodded skateboard? Holy halfpipe! The sign bears a striking similarity to others I've seen posted with the Batmobile, presumably by Barris Kustom. (I googled for examples but can't craft the right terms to filter the zillions of online images of the Batmobile; perhaps someone here c...

Re: SCRIPT: "The Clock King's Crazy Crimes"
A few thoughts: Aunt Harriet was a big part of the action in the first draft, uncharacteristically having more to do than Alfred. I like the idea of that, but I can see why the Greenway brass scrapped those sequences: Her judo throw in the teaser does seem like a stretch, but it would have been hila...

Beautiful! I have a strange urge to hear Paul Simon's "Mother and Child Reunion."

Re: SCRIPT: "The Clock King's Crazy Crimes"
I'm excited for this one, but it looks like there's an access issue on the script files. Maybe permissions need to be changed to make them downloadable by anyone?
