Re: Aurora Batman Repro Model Kit?
Thanks, Andy! 👍🏻 I prefer the original kit with the owl, embossed symbol, and “BATMAN” lettering on the tree. Trying to restore those onto the ‘74 kit was too hard so I just abandoned the idea and put it together. I am not completely satisfied with how it came out. The body suit was supposed to have...

Re: Aurora Batman Repro Model Kit?
Here’s a clip from a Batman Power Records intro. Seemed appropriate. “Detective music”!!

Re: Aurora Batman Repro Model Kit?
This kit is a 1974 stock build. The video shows one of the sound clips I installed on the circuit. My next model will be the restored 1964 kit. Then, I’ll have two!

Re: Aurora Batman Repro Model Kit?
https://i.imgur.com/wkVkPHe.jpeg I want to apologize for my rambling previous posts. Here’s the 1974 version, that I was going to convert to the 1964 kit. I decided against that idea and went ahead and built it as the comic scenes version. As previously suggested, I also bought a partially built 19...

Re: Things you didn't notice or remember until seeing the DVDs
Rewatching Season 3…ok, the guy playing the British Inspector in the “Londonium” episodes…hahaha! That guy was hilarious!!!!
He did this insane head bobbing laugh at least twice over the course of those 3 episodes. . Now - that’s comedy! I don’t know how the cast kept from laughing!!

Re: Worst Bat Villain Cast
Most of the Batman episodes are fun for me to relax and watch with the exception of the Liberace episodes and the puzzler episodes. Those get skipped when I’m watching the series in its entirety. The puzzler….ok, they had to do something to replace Frank Gorshin but c’mon…that “villain” was lousy.

Re: Worst Bat Villain Cast
That reminds me: a few years ago, when my son was about 11, we were spending father and son time watching James Bond movies at night. Fun times and fond memories. However, when we started watching “YOLT,” we fell asleep. We tried watching it again the next night, and fell asleep again! On the third...

Re: Worst Bat Villain Cast
Ethel Merman as “Senora Lola Lasgne”, lol!!! The episodes are so ridiculous, I’m trying to watch them (I am not sure why) but keep falling asleep. So, the next evening, I end up re-watching parts from the night before and falling asleep again. Wow. I’ve found the cure for insomnia. Just put those Et...

Re: Things you didn't notice or remember until seeing the DVDs
I just re-watched every episode of Season 1 and really enjoyed it. I went straight into Season 3 and wow! The contrast! Adam did a great job in Season 1 trying to portray a comic book accurate portrayal of Batman. I love him but he went over the top in Season 3. Season 3 is like a standalone show. ...

Re: R.I.P. David Soul aka 'Hutch'
He was 80?!? I will always remember him as the young cop in Magnum Force and Starsky and Hutch. An observation: Starsky and Hutch appears to be HEAVILY influenced by the movie, “The Super Cops” in which the two partner officers were referred to as “Batman and Robin” on the street. I love that movie....

Re: 1st On Screen Hardtop Batmobile!
I finally found the right combination - gloss paint with semi gloss clear over it. I’m pretty happy with this result. Boy, the black paint and high def camera pick up every dust speck! I’m looking forward to detailing the trim and interior. There’s light at the end of the tunnel! https://i.imgur.co...

Re: 1st On Screen Hardtop Batmobile!
Rough unacceptable paint is wet sanded smooth with 2000 grit sandpaper. Wiped with alcohol, ready for paint. Unfortunately, I’m out of town for the weekend and can’t work on it. At this rate, I’ll finish it by Christmas….maybe! When I return, this car will be sprayed with gloss black, allowed to dr...

Re: 1st On Screen Hardtop Batmobile!
https://i.imgur.com/lu7VFXg.jpeg I am having a tough time getting this thing finished!!!! This brings back memories of being a kid and rushing putting model kits together. Hah, I remember either rushing it to get it done or abandoning it completely. I have not changed that much. And…I believe these...
